Originally from Guelph, Ontario, I moved to the US in 2003, to pursue my interest in contemplative study and massage therapy.
I hold a 1000-hour Certification from the Boulder College of Massage Therapy. I have also completed an Associate of Occupational Studies degree (AOS) in Massage Therapy where the concentration was on medical and orthopedic massage I am a member of the associated bodywork and massage professionals (abmp).
Since graduating in 2006 I have had the pleasure of working with a number of very talented and knowledgeable physical therapists in Boulder, CO where I focused on injuries related to sports, the work place, and repetitive activities. This experience has shaped my massage into a fusion of Swedish massage, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, deep tissue massage, and neuromuscular therapy. My work combines soothing techniques with deeper, focused work aimed at addressing acute or chronic issues within the body, mind, and spirit.
I have a sweet dog that comes to work with me everyday. She's my professional greeter. She sleeps under the massage table during sessions. If this is an issue for you please let me know at the time of booking.
